Founded in 1922 by Henry "Fritz" Chandler in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Fritz was the 2nd Wilbert Licensee in the Country. He started as the Perfected Burial Vault Company with a location at 709-715 Selby Ave, St. Paul.



Over the years Brown-Wilbert has grown to 14 locations in MN, ND, SD, WI.

In 1995, Brown-Wilbert emerged, and now the 5th generation is proudly serving the Funeral-Cemetery industry not only in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North and South Dakota but nation wide with our vast urn program. Serving Funeral Homes and Cemeteries is our primary business, however Brown-Wilbert has become the Largest Septic Tank Producer in MN, ND and now produces Redi-Rock retaining wall systems & Precast Electric Pole Bases in the upper Midwest as well. We still pride ourselves as one of the Largest Casket & Urn Supplier in the Midwest.

We also provide the services of selling and designing Imagination Granite, a division of Brown-Wilbert, we manufacture and install Urn Columbarium’s & Mausoleums when requested to do so.

We continue to reflect your funeral home and your cemetery for now over 102 years. The families that you serve are our families as well. We look forward to the next 102 years of serving you.
